Washington State Senior Citizens' Lobby 2010 Fall Conference
The 2010 Fall Conference is scheduled for: Wednesday, October 13, 2010 9:00 am to 3:30 pm Doubletree Hotel SeaTac, 18740 International Blvd., SeaTac, WA 98188
This year the focus of the conference will cover topics such as: Health Care Making it Work in Washington State and the Current Tax Structure of the State of Washington. The agenda will include several well known speakers, two moderated forums and a debate on several Initiatives. The conference will be covered by TVW. Speakers or panelists confirmed to date are Governor Christine Gregoire, Aaron Katz, University of Washington Department of Health, Kathy Leitch, Assistant Secretary of Aging and Adult Services, Jonathan Seib, Health Care Policy, Mike Kreidler, Washington State Insurance Commissioner, Doug Porter, Health Care Authority, Marty Brown, Office of Financial Management, John Burbank, Economic Opportunity Institute, Jerry Reilly, Elder Care Alliance, Robbie Stern, Puget Sound Alliance for Retired Americans, Representative Tina Orwall, 33rd District, and Senator Rosa Franklin, 29th District. There are two categories of registration which include Registration Packet, Lunch and Complimentary Parking: Senior Citizens, Volunteers @ $40.00 or Professional (Agency, Service Professionals and Organization Representatives) @ $95.00
